Our twenty-ninth week of #PostsFromTheHeart contained another wonderful set of fantastic posts. They were a wonderful selection, which genuinely moved me.
Once again we had both some incredibly joyful, and some utter heartbreakers among our posts. It was a priveledge to read every one of them. It was lovely to see so many of our regular linkers return, and also to see lots of new writers join us.
There is no obligation at all to comment on this post but we would love it if you could sprinkle some extra love on one of our Highlighted Posts. You the linkers are what make this Linky such a pleasure to host and we want to make sure you all get as much out of it as possible.
This week’s highlighted posts were once again incredibly difficult to choose, but I think you will all agree that they are more than deserving of their place:
Help I Need Me Time… But How? By A Blonde and A Baby is a post that I defy any parent not to relate to. It’s a post about the demands of life with small children. But more than that it’s a recognition that it’s ok to miss time to yourself. It’s also though a recognition that this is just a stage, like all others, it won’t last forever – the good or the bad.
The Post School Meltdown by To Aufinity And Beyond is a heartfelt post about Sonny and his family’s experiences in the lead up to the summer holidays and the early part of them. For Sonny like many children with Autism this has been a challenging time, and I’m sure it’s a post that so many families will relate to.
A Woman’s Right To Choose by The Odd Sock Diary was one that really struck a chord with me. It questions motivations and assumptions and really will make you think. I’m not going to say more on this one, you really just need to read it.
