A Review Of Flappy The Elephant by Baby Gund

Every now and then a product arrives that I know will be loved from this second I set my eyes on it.

Flappy the Elephant is one such beauty. Super soft, incredibly gorgeous and unbelievably cute.

Flappy not only sings to little ones, but also uses his ears to play peek-a-boo. The look on Number Two’s face was priceless when he first saw him. And I have to say mine was probably pretty close too!

This is a toy that’s beautifully designed. A product which will not only be loved by babies but that will be loved by their parents too.

Flappy looks gorgeous in the nursery and would make the perfect gift for newborns, christenings and first birthdays.

This is one toy that parents won’t be pleading with the battery life to end.

With two distinct modes Flappy is perfect for babies of different ages with different needs.

In sing mode Flappy is suitable for even the youngest of infants, his soothing lullaby relaxing them whilst his moving ears provide visual stimulation. This mode certainly isn’t limited to tiny babies though. Number Two, adores it and can’t resist hugging Flappy whenever he starts singing.

In play mode Flappy is ideally suited for babies who are ready for some to and fro interaction. Using his ears he plays peek-a-boo, and asks them where they have gone. Number Two loves to interact with Flappy in this mode, pointing at him when he ‘disappears’ behind his ears.

One thing that as a parent I particularly appreciate is how easy it is for toddlers to operate Flappy.

Number Two easily switches between modes pressing the buttons on Flappy’s feet easily to operate him.

In short Flappy is a toy which has quickly become a firm favourite, and I’m sure he will remain so for some time to come.

Please don’t just take my word for it though.

Why not take a look for yourself at just how special Flappy the Elephant is and just how much Number Two loves him.

It’s not surprising that Flappy has just been awarded the ‘Editor’s Choice’ accolade in the Made for Mums Awards.

Nor does it come as a shock that Flappy sold out not long after. But fear not, he should be available for pre-order again soon via the Gund UK website. Stock will be limited though, so if you’ve fallen in love with him, order soon to make sure you don’t miss out.

Disclaimer: we were gifted Flappy in return for an honest review. As always however all opinions are my own.
